Vibration absorbers are chiefly used in cooling systems such as air-conditioning units, refrigeration plants and in heat pumps. Vibration absorbers prevent transmission of vibrations and have a sound insulating effect. vibration absorbers are resistant to usual refrigerants. vibration compensators are frost-resistant.
Usage
Vibration absorbers are designed for a nominal pressure of 30 bar. The permissible temperature range extends from -70 °C to +200 °C taking account of the reduction factors at pressure and temperature.
Installation
When installing the shock absorbers, check the direction of the vibrations since the hoses can only absorb movements at right angles to their axis. They must also be free of stress, aligned (not offset) and must not be stretched or buckled when connected.
