EXPANSION METAL JOINTS

Expansion joints can be equipped with all kinds of connectors, such as welding ends or welded or loose (rotatable) flanges.
1.Axial movement is considered as the extension or compression of the pipeline system on its longitudinal axis, which means that the total length of the expansion joint will be extended or compressed in the process of absorbing movement.

3.Axial movement is shown as AX and stated in mm. Compression and elongation are indicated as negative (-) and positive (+).
4. Axial expansion joints have the ability to compensate axial movement and have simple and compact overall size, so they are widely used in various applications. Axial expansion joints are especially common in long pipes, such as exhaust system, ventilation and flue gas system, district heating, steam, oil and gas pipeline system.
Standard solutions
The standard full length of shock absorber is 130 mm, and any rubber expansion joint can be easily replaced. The range of shock absorber can solve any problems related to mechanical vibration, and has higher pressure and temperature bearing capacity than rubber bellows. Unlike rubber expansion joints, stainless steel bellows will not be damaged by the atmosphere when installed outdoors.
